CodePath Honored as an Anthem Awards Silver Winner for “Best Use of Technology”

Written by CodePath | November 19, 2024

CodePath announced today that its One-Stop Application Portal for students has been awarded the Silver for “Best Use of Technology” related to Education, Art & Culture in The 4th Annual Anthem Awards.

CodePath is reprogramming higher education to create the most diverse generation of engineers, CTOs, and founders by delivering industry-vetted courses and career support. With a goal of scaling 14x and serving 100,000 students per year by 2028, CodePath partnered with Friday and FreeRange to design and launch a best-in-class application experience.

“Our One-Stop Application Portal is specifically designed to help computer science students easily discover what courses and programs fit their career needs, taking the guesswork out of their learning journey,” said Emily Chong, VP of Marketing at CodePath. “We’re incredibly honored to receive this Anthem Award as a testament to CodePath’s commitment to helping our students land the most competitive technical roles while using technology to drive efficiency and innovation.”

The new application portal had three main goals to achieve:
  • Allow students to apply for multiple courses at once without having to re-enter duplicative information.
  • Automatically determine student eligibility for courses and only allow them to apply to those they are eligible for.
  • Elevate the visibility of CodePath’s rigorous application process and tasks requiring attention.

The resulting One-Stop Application Portal has drastically enhanced the student user experience by providing personalized course recommendations based on the student’s current technical knowledge and educational background. In fact, CodePath saw a 124% increase in completed applications the first semester the Portal was launched. Since launch, the Portal has helped CodePath deliver double-digit growth rates at nearly 30% lower costs.

“The Winners of this year’s Anthem Awards are truly inspiring, and I am honored to help elevate their impact,” said Anthem Awards General Manager, Patricia McLoughlin. “At this moment, there is a lot of uncertainty in our world, but the tireless and extraordinary efforts of the Anthem Awards community provide hope that a better tomorrow is possible. Thank you to everyone doing this work and making an impact.”
