What is CareerConnect?
Launching in Beta for 2024, CareerConnect is the new platform to connect CodePath course completers with open opportunities at CodePath company partners.

Who is eligible to join the platform?
Anyone who has completed a CodePath course is eligible for a CareerConnect profile.
If you're enrolled in a CodePath course, you will receive an email a few weeks after completion to alert you that you can now set up a profile. If you've previously completed a course, you can set up your profile at any time. -
How do I use CareerConnect?
Simple! Set up a CareerConnect profile, including your resume and LinkedIn. Then you're all set!
If your qualifications and requirements match those listed by a company, you receive a match. The platform will continually reference your profile when new opportunities are added. Watch out for interview opportunities, meeting requests, or emails, from company partners! -
How many companies are on CareerConnect?
As a Beta launch, we first onboarded course completers to the platform and then invited partner companies to join. By the end of 2024, 30+ open roles have been uploaded to the platform to match with CodePath talent. We expect to see hundreds of companies using the platform as the Beta tool grows.

What information is shared with companies?
Companies will receive details from your profile including your resume, LinkedIn, class year, email, and the other information you shared when completing your profile. You can see the match details shared with companies on the match details portion of your profile.

Can international students use CareerConnect?
Yes, work authorization is a matching criteria, so you will only be matched with opportunities that you would eligible for.

Will I get a job using CareerConnect?
CareerConnect allows students and companies to match. The hiring process is different for every company, and each company will decide whether they want to move a matched student forward in their process, and what the timeline or next steps would be.

Is there an EES Career Fair this year?
As part of the 2024 expansion of EES, CareerConnect replaced the former EES Career Fairs to serve more students with fewer restrictions.

What happens when I am matched?
When you are matched with a company, it means that you met their pre-screening qualifications and your profile, resume and details will be shared with the recruiter. You can see the match details on the match details section of your profile. The recruiter then will either set up Interview Days through CareerConnect, or review candidates and move them into their own hiring process outside of the platform.

How does the platform match candidates with roles?
The platform will look at the requirements the company has added for each position and match any students who have those exact qualifications. These matching qualifications include: class year, work authorization, technical skills, relocation, and graduation date.

How can I share my resume with a company even if I didn't get matched with a role?
Each company will have a resume drop where you can share your resume even if they don't have a position that matches your qualifications.
