CodePath is reprogramming higher education to create the most diverse generation of engineers, CTOs, and founders. We deliver industry-vetted courses and career support centered on the needs of Black, Latino/a, Indigenous, and low-income students. Our students train with senior engineers, intern at top companies, and rise together to become the tech leaders of tomorrow.

Your Role as a Volunteer

CodePath offers various opportunities for industry professionals to get involved as volunteers in as short as 30 minutes. All you have to do is sign up with your availability within a set one-week time frame and we match you with 1-3 students! 

Our programs are held quarterly throughout the year, making it easy to volunteer whenever you have availability. We are currently seeking volunteers to fill the following roles:

What to Expect as a Volunteer

All of our volunteer programs are conducted remotely over a pre-setup Zoom.

Select from a wide variety of time slots that best suit your schedule.

Before each session, you'll receive the student's information along with a session guide.

All volunteers receive an annual appreciation gift and certificate. CodePath also provides volunteers with quarterly in-person volunteer networking events, opportunities to redeem CodePath swag, a newsletter with job resources, and more.

Skills We look for in Volunteers

Technical Skills

Experience with Python, Java, and/or C++ is required for our tech-based volunteer roles. If you are non-technical, we still have volunteer opportunities for you!

Professional Experience

2 years of professional experience is required to be eligible for any of our volunteer programs. We want to ensure our students are receiving the best possible advice and guidance.
